CMS/AMA joint announcement and guidance regarding ICD-10 flexibilities updated

The ICD-10 flexibility allowed Medicare Part B providers to bill ICD-10 from the right family but not the correct level of specificity for 12 months after ICD-10 implementation. Recently, CMS updated the FAQ regarding ICD-10 flexibility by adding a new section titled “Expiration of Medicare Flexibilities.”
